So we set the world on fire.

Uber late post!  Met up with high school friends before Cristel F. left for the US.  I can't believe we've been friends for nine years.  This friendship is forever. <3

First stop: Mochiko at The Collective.
The Collective is like the Cubao Expo of Makati.   It was my first time at The Collective and  I was excited to see the artsy side of Makati since I've been hearing a lot of good things about it. Unfortunately, when we got there only four stores were open; Mochiko, a restaurant selling chicken wings, a shop selling crafted bags and wallets, and a dark bar with an awful sound system. Needless to say, I still enjoyed The Collective since the walls has an interesting touch to it.  And Mochiko is so cute with it pink walls, and pink throw pillows! Will definitely go back there. :)

Marlon R., my twin and Angel B., my best friend. :)

It was my first time to taste mochi.  It's ice cream wrapped in bilo-bilo. I'm not really sure what bilo-bilo is in English. :)) The ice cream used is from Fruits in Ice cream, which is my favorite local brand. :) I ordered cookie dough and it was delish! The next time Tel's here, we'll be making this ourselves! ;)

My divi-buddy, Cristel! <3

Posing with the cutesy throw pillows and our pseudo-boyfriend for the night! LOL

Cosplay costumes on display.

Customized long boards!

The Collective's Graffiti

The Evil Cat!

Ring for sale! Don't you just love the colors?

This store was really interestin! I love the layout of the store. It has a ramp made of wood that leads to the second story of the floor.  The bags and wallets are really unique!
Girlfriend! :)

Bags on the branches! Kudos to the store's designer!

I want the orange woolly bag!

Bikes parked outside the shop. I.want.a.bike.SOON.

Hung out at Central afterwards. :)

Someone buzzed out (not me!) so we decided to sleep over at Cristel's house. Finally, Angel was able to sleep over after ten thousand years! :)) I love random events like this. :) We woke up late. We decided to try out the Korean restaurant, Arisoo at Cartimar.

The food here is cheap yet it does not scrimp on quality. I love the kimbap and the chapchae! :) I can't wait for our next food trip! :)

MV: 2ne1's Be Mine

2ne1 just released "Be Mine", a collaborative project with Intel Korea.  The project "Make Thumb Noise", allowed fans to vote for their favorite instrumental for the track, song title, arrangement and bridge.  Over 1 million fan votes was garnered during he four rounds of voting. This song is quite catchy! I'm still looking for the English translation. :) And I can't wait for 2ne1's comeback! :)

The Sun goes down...

It's always a hard time to say goodbye to paradise.  But I know, deep in my heart that I'll be back here one day. ;) For now, adieu my dream island!

Last shots courtesy of Mama, who was up early. Or maybe, I just love sleeping too much. :)) Figures.

The world was sleeping and so were the umbrellas...

and the chairs..

but this one's hard at work! ;)

And in the jungle creatures hid...

such as lizards and sharp-eyed birds,

even dwarfs with hip pants!

This is worth waking up to every single morning.

Goodbye, Sun Village! :)

Back to Caticlan!

Globe ad plastered on the cliff.

The whole stretch with ads! This seriously ruins the view.

My parents, being such stickler for rules, wanted to arrive at the Caticlan Airport two hours before our flight!  When we arrived, our plane wasn't even boarding BUT luchy us, there were seats on the flight that was scheduled to leave in a bit! Yay! Thanks, AirPhil Express!

We were seated in the emergency exit aisle, and the flight attendant briefed us on the safety procedures in case the plane encounters difficulty.  We listened intently, read the guide card and prayed to God we DID NOT have to use that knowledge.  Thank God we didn't! :))

Itsy bitsy plane back to Manila.

Touchdown, Manila! Look at the crowd!

Spotted: Cutsie patootsie Korean toddlers at the airport!  They were so talkative and kulit!  The little boy even had a "fragile" sticker on his shirt. :)) He soon removed it and stuck it on his face. Haha They were travelling with their moms.  My fascination with anything Korean extended to these kids. :)) Judgng from their tan, they look like they had a good time. :)

And judging how all four of us got a tan, I know we enjoyed this trip.  We enjoyed so much that we're looking forward to the next escapade!  Till next trip!
